Castlemaine State Festival is a prestigious and exciting biennial multi-arts festival encompassing visual arts, music, theatre, literature, film and dance.
An extraordinary range of Victorian, Australian and international artists have performed at the Festival, and in 2011 our program included over one thousand artists, writers, poets, historians, playwrights, curators, visual artists, filmmakers, dancers, choreographers, designers, musicians and composers!
